Kaligraffiti and Bloc28 Pens

Have you seen these pens? Talk about functional art! The pens manufactured by Retro 1951  are easy click with spray tip tops. Their motto: "Life is too short to carry an Ugly Pen!"... boy do they mean it. Above are two separate lines of pen. The left two designs are under the Bloc28 (Disney Consumer Products) label featuring art by graffiti artist "Slick" and Jason Daily. The right three designs are under the Retro branded Kaligraffit label, designed by Richard Koehler.

The Kalifraffiti pen concept: Richard told us for his first round of pens he really wanted to evoke that 'graffiti'esque feel. The Splatter (blue/orange/black) enhances the color aspect which street artists sometimes embrace, focusing on spatter, drip and spray techniques. The Urban Scrawl (green) was designed to enhance the 'act' of painting within the city, while the The Rexter (red) is done in a stencil style. Richard designed this first batch, but is hoping to commission accredited street artist to help represent this awesome idea. Know anyone? If you want to grab any of these rad pens, hit up Paradise Pen.
